Students form the core of the Black Cultural Center’s mission. The Center has offered programs to encourage the success and wellbeing of students of color on campus and in their futures.
The Center has hosted orientations, retreats, and mixers for incoming students of color to learn more about the university and meet other students.
The Center administers the Reaching Achievement and Committed to Excellence (RACE) minority mentor program, which provides students of color an opportunity to share and receive guidance on campus resources, learn strategies for academic success, and socialize with other students.
