I was kind of like the pied piper. I’d have everybody, we’d be marching. Course you know, we didn’t have cars back then, so we’d walk about a mile from campus to home. But walking out to my mother’s for a Sunday cooked meal and let me tell you, that wasn’t something that was turned down at the time, a student away from home and getting a homecooked meal. Hey, that was uptown. So, though, I have a lot of fond memories on those, on those Sunday afternoons. So we kind of formed our own little groupings and I can remember when the quad was over on the old part of campus. The cafeteria was one of the main center points. You know, I remember us getting together a lot of times there just if nothing more keeping each other company. And I think that went a long way to help us.
