RJESOLU'fliONS
Yesterday, we went our separate ways,
Resolve, and strive to link together as a unity of one,
and put yesterday behind.
We always should look beyond ourselves,
and see the mountaintop with brothers and sisters
working in love, spirit, and truth, and harmony,
Resolve, in having a rich inheritance of colors,
and be thankful for what and who you are.
Continue to seek the rainbows our fathers
and forefathers painted for us,
· Resolve to enblazon them with hues they may not have
known but hues they would not have questioned.
To thy own self bs true, and know what you can do,
Resolve, and be the best you can be.
When you have done your best,
you can withstand the test.
We have come a long way.
There are further horizons to travel.
We can do it. One for all.
Peace, love, and understanding will guide us.
Working together will build us.
Unity will strengthen us.
We Bll. the African-Americans of the 90's.
