In the clipping, Vernita Young (Class of 2004) describes taking a West African dance class at Tech as one of her most memorable moments as a student.

Vernita Young: And then also, I took an African dance class there. And Dr. Rasmussen—ha, I did remember a professor! Dr. Rasmussen, he would—it was lovely just hearing him tell stories about how he would go and learn the dances, and the history behind he dances and stuff like that. And then the recital that you put on at the end of class. Like, that was fun.
