Dublin Core
Title
Sherlock Park
Description
Named after Bethel "Sherlock" Carrington, who was a night watchman for the university from 1933-1967. The park is used by students for football, ultimate frisbee, recruitment events, cookouts and relaxation. The Tech marching band also uses the open area for practice. The image of Sherlock shows one of Sherlock's functions at the University during his tenure; he is locking the women's dormitary to keep students both in and out.
